Regular visitors to York but usually stay with friends. However, as we were having our Civil partnership we booked 6 Stonegate Court.. . wow!! Fantastic welcome from Susan into superb accommodation right in the city centre. Every attention to detail and more. Thank you Susan and Malcolm, especially for the tip about the House of the Trembling Madness; we had a wonderful afternoon therr and food was fantastic.

The propety exceeded our expectations, especially in the kithen department - everything was so spotlessly clean (which rarely happens). It was lovely to come home to such a warm apartment. Would have loved to have used the terrace more but the wettest weather on record for 100years it was not to be! This was our first visit to York and we have loved every second. We had a lovely time and couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. The apartment is wonderful, a real home from home! In fact we have to say it is one of the best places we have stayed. We were very impressed by York and loved the fact that everything was pratically on our doorstep, I don't think we could have chosen anywhere more convenient to base ourselves. Needless to say we will be back in the not too distant future and of course we will be recommending the apartment to anyone planning a trip to the city. The apartment is lovely and we love being in the center of York. We never even moved our car because there was so much to see right here. Thank you for the goodies and the fresh flowers. The web advert was not overrated. Everything was as promised. The accommodation was very comfortable, sparkling and beautifully decorated. We also liked having the outside deck. The best week ever.

This is the second time we have stayed and we have booked for a third stay so that should speak volumes. Fantastic as always. We look forward to seeing you in October. Arguably the best accommodation in York. Susan has the personal touch and top marks for a wonderful standard of quality furniture, fittings and fixtures. It is the cleanest holiday accomodation we have ever stayed in and is a great plae to chill and sightsee, and also a great place to relax. Nothing we have found in York could e describe as least liked but the vibrancy, people and sights of York are all there to enjoy.
