Draw breath as you are met by a stunning view of the ancient Minster, a treasure house of history and architecture, and gaze in wonderment at the Tudor and Stuart houses below.

Beyond your front door, walk through the light and airy hallway into a large warm and welcoming living room which leads you out onto your own private terrace. Or sink into the leather sofas and enjoy a well deserved complimentary bottle of wine with some delicious welcome treats as you absorb your new surroundings. Here you will find a TV-combination, including Freeview, with videos and DVDs, together with a wide choice of CDs to play on the high quality sound system. With a dining-table and seating for six you have a wonderful environment for dining, entertaining and relaxation.
Designer kitchen - with everything to hand
In the designer kitchen you will find a cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer-drier, dishwasher and slow-cooker, together with everything else to make your stay easy and restful. Although, with all of the wonderful restaurants, café-bars and Olde-Worlde-Inns on your doorstep, the kitchen may be a luxury of which you do not make much use.
The pristine family bathroom and en-suite to the master bedroom have your every need anticipated, from candles and welcome toiletries to cosy robes to curl up in for a relaxing night.

Then in the beautiful double bedrooms, where each room has a double bed, your stay is complete. One with its windows facing the secluded courtyard and from the other you can walk out on to your own private terrace where you can gaze at the stars or over the ancient pan-tiled roofs nearby.
When you have unpacked why not explore the city. From the ‘back-steps’ you will enter one of York’s many ‘Snickleways’, an ancient alleyway leading you straight onto Stonegate – arguably the finest street in York, a place where history and shopping are close companions.

History, culture, shopping, fine dining and much more are all at hand. The racecourse, founded in 1731, is just 1 mile away and, all other means of entertainment are in the close vicinity.
