In the designer kitchen you will find a cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer-drier, dishwasher and slow-cooker, together with everything else to make your stay easy and restful.  Although, with all of the wonderful restaurants, café-bars and Olde-Worlde-Inns on your doorstep, the kitchen may be a luxury of which you do not make much use.

The pristine bathroom, accessed from the entrance hall, has your every need anticipated, from candles and welcome toiletries to plush towels and cosy robes to curl up in for a relaxing night.

Walk up the stairs to the beautiful galleried bedroom overlooking the lounge.  With its windows facing the courtyard and a skylight in the roof you can gaze at the stars or over the ancient pan-tiled roofs nearby.

When you have unpacked why not explore the city.  From the ‘back-steps’ you will enter one of York’s many ‘Snickleways’ - an ancient alleyway - leading you straight onto Stonegate, arguably the finest street in York, a place where history and shopping are close companions.
